We welcome pitches and submissions from Native writers, journalists, researchers, and storytellers. Our platform exists to amplify Indigenous perspectives — and that starts with the people who share them.

What We're Looking For

Original Journalism

Investigative reports, policy analysis, and news coverage centered on Native nations and Indigenous issues.

Cultural Storytelling

Personal narratives, oral histories, profiles of community leaders, and features on Indigenous arts and traditions.

Opinion & Commentary

Thoughtful perspectives on politics, sovereignty, environmental justice, education, and representation.

Educational Resources

Lesson plans, curriculum guides, and explainers aligned with accurate Indigenous scholarship.

Guidelines

✦Native voices first. We prioritize submissions from Indigenous writers. Allies are welcome to pitch, but pieces should center Native perspectives and sources.
✦Accuracy matters. Cite your sources. Respect cultural protocols. When writing about a specific nation or community, include their voices.
✦Length. Features: 800–2,000 words. Opinion pieces: 500–1,200 words. We also accept shorter dispatches and multimedia submissions.
✦Original work only. We don't publish pieces that have appeared elsewhere, including personal blogs and Medium.
